Utilising our hybrid fibre coaxial (HFC) network available exclusively in Geelong, Mildura, and Ballarat. While many legacy broadband networks will be replaced by the NBN™, iiNet’s Cable network in select areas of Victoria is already a high performance, future-ready broadband service that won’t be disocnnected. iiNet Cable customers do not need to switch the NBN™ and they were able to take advantage of our special offer for 50% off their monthly plan price for the first 12 month on a 24 month agreement.

iiNet was successfully acquired by TPG Telecom in September 2015 in a $1.56 billion deal. The merger created Australia's second largest internet service provider.
