Is there a contract to purchase 5G Home Broadband?
All 5G Home Broadband plans are available on a no lock-in contract.
How am I billed for my 5G Home Broadband service?
5G Home Broadband is provided on a prepaid basis. You must pay the monthly recurring charges in advance. iiNet will debit your bank account/credit card 7 days prior to the end of the billing period for the following billing period’s monthly charge.
Are there any excess charges?
No, it isn’t possible to accrue any excess charges with 5G Home Broadband.
Do I need to purchase any new hardware or equipment to use 5G Home Broadband?
To use 5G Home Broadband, you must purchase and use the 5G Home Broadband Modem supplied by us. You will be supplied with a new or remanufactured modem.
What is the 5G Home Broadband modem fee?
If you receive a new or remanufactured modem with your order, you'll pay $0/mth when you stay connected over 36 months or if you return the modem. If you cancel your plan or your service is withdrawn within 36 months, you will be charged a modem fee of $300. Alternatively, if you return the modem in Good Working Order within 21 days of your plan being cancelled or withdrawn, we will waive the modem fee.
Is there a cancellation fee for 5G Home Broadband?
5G Home Broadband is only available on a no lock-in contract, so there's no contract break fee if you cancel in the first 36 months of your plan.
If a new or remanufactured modem is provided, a fee may apply if you choose not to return the modem within 21 days of cancelling your service or your order being withdrawn. Please refer to our Pricing Schedule for more details.
