NBN terms, fees & guarantees
All iiNet services are bound by our Customer Relationship Agreement. This page offers a quick summary of the terms, fees and guarantees that come with your NBN fibre service. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on 13 86 89.
Terms summary
There are no installation fees on standard NBN service installations. Non-standard installations may incur charges payable by you - NBN Co will advise you of any applicable charges.
As of 1st April 2016, nbn™ will be introducing a connection charge of $300 for each new connection order within a New Development Location. If you are connecting within a development area you may be liable for this charge. More information on these charges can be found here.
If you exceed your quota, your download and upload speeds are shaped for the remainder of your billing month.
You may switch between our NBN plans at any time without incurring contract break fees.

Anytime quota and shaping
Both uploads and downloads count towards your quota.
NBN fibre are shaped to 8/1 Mbps once quota has been exceeded.
Contract terms
NBN fibre plans are available on a 0 and 24-month contract. When you take a NBN plan on a 24-month contract, we'll send you an included WiFi modem – you’ll only have to pay the $10 delivery charge.
If you end your contract early, the following break fees apply. These fees cover the costs reasonably incurred by iiNet when the contract commenced.
The below fees apply to NBN fibre.

Fair contract guarantee
When you sign up to a contract, you commit to retain your NBN service for the set period.
However, our fair contract guarantee lets you change between plans at any time without the need to break your agreed contract.
