Australia’s peak customer service organisation the Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA) recognises iiNet in October 2009, with the Australian Service Excellence Award for WA Large Business (Over 500 FTE) and WA Contact Centre of the Year Vernon Lawrence also takes home WA Call Centre Manager of the Year and Michael Malone tops it all off by picking up National Customer Service CEO of the Year. |

| iiNet is named In the Top 20 'Most admired customer service companies' across Australia and New Zealand by International Customer Service Professionals in October 2009. Nominated by peer business, iiNet was amongst the likes of Apple, Google, Mercedes Benz and Qantas. | ![]() |
| iiNet wins two awards at the 9th Annual Media, Entertainment & Telecommunications Awards in September 2009. The company takes home the award for Best Broadband Service (Fixed or Wireless) and Michael Malone is announced Chief Executive of the Year. | ![]() |
