10 January 2012 - iiNet, Australia's second largest DSL broadband provider, has today announced an educational program dedicated to teaching discoverers of all ages basic computer and Internet skills.

The program, called 'Learn with iiNet', will see the Internet service provider host two workshops each month at its Subiaco headquarters. The workshops will cover a variety of topics including Facebook basics, social media etiquette, tips for troubleshooting and more.

Maryna Fewster, iiNet's Chief Customer Officer, said the program is designed to help people make the most of their broadband connection.

"Following on from the success of our annual Open Day event, Learn with iiNet satisfies the overwhelming demand from our customers and members of the local community to gain new skills and maximise their Internet connection and devices," Ms Fewster said.

"We're passionate about the Internet and connecting with the community and we see the Learn with iiNet program as a natural extension of the many community-based initiatives we already participate in."
