Epidemiology:
A. Source of agent/origin of infection: investigations under way.

C. Other epidemiological details: the last outbreak was confirmed on 4 July
1997.
Control measures during reporting period: stamping out; control of
invertebrate vectors; diagnostic testing; quarantine and movement control
