Learn with iiNet workshops
Our small focused workshops are designed for anyone new to the Internet – people of all ages, keen to discover.
Run by iiNet staff and a team of friendly volunteers, each workshop is held at iiNet's Subiaco head office.
Sessions run for about two hours, opening with a quick overview followed by serious hands-on time.
For everyone who can't make it along this month, we'll be rolling out more sessions throughout the year.

For folks who live outside of sunny Perth, stay tuned – we'll be sharing more great learning tools in 2012.

February workshops
Join our iiNet BoBsquad™ team, as they show you how to setup a secure wireless home network. You’ll learn how to connect your doovalackies, pick up pointers on basic network security, plus walk away with basic troubleshooting techniques (handy for when your home network is misbehaving).
Once you’re booked in, feel free to bring in your gadgets (laptops, iPads or smartphones). We’ll give you a hands-on demo on how to get everything connected.
Recommended for:
Anyone looking to set up a home network, who isn't 100% on how to secure a WiFi connection. Maybe you've got a new gadget to connect to the 'net or maybe you're looking for guidance around networking and security.

From getting in touch with long lost friends to storing your old memories online, Facebook is a powerful way to connect. This workshop runs you through ground rules for setting up an account. You'll learn about walls, likes, uploading photos, look at privacy settings and how to avoid common Facebook faux pas with basic social networking etiquette.
Recommended for:
Anyone who's been umming and ahhing about joining Facebook.
