Broadband 2+ customers in the following exchanges GIRRAWHEEN, GREENMOUNT, LESMURDIE, KELMSCOTT, MEDINA, SCARBOROUGH and MADDINGTON may experience slow internet speeds. Affected customers may be unable to access web sites and check email or they may find the connection to be slow.

Technical Summary:

Link utilisation to several WA exchanges is near maximum capacity during some peak times. The affected exchanges are: GIRRAWHEEN, GREENMOUNT, LESMURDIE, KELMSCOTT, MEDINA, SCARBOROUGH and MADDINGTON. The peak times are 11am – 1pm, and 8pm – 10pm and 2am-3am.

Resolution:

A capacity increase notice has been lodged with our transmission provider, with additional capacity due to be provisioned by 20/03/2009.
