Want to combine great coverage with cutting-edge technology? iiNet has a range of 4G mobile phone plans that you can buddy with any of our awesome mobile phones, or alternatively, take the SIM-only option and get connected with us while using your own handset.

You can choose from a large range of high-quality handsets to go with our mobile plans.

Once you’ve chosen the perfect handset, it’s time to match it with the perfect mobile phone plan. Whether you’re on a budget, or you really like to talk, we have the plan to cover you. Our plans support both the 3G and 4G networks, so for those who have a need for speed, we have the plan for you.

There are four mobile phone plans to choose from, offering call and text value, and a monthly data allowance, so you can stay connected. With each plan, you can enjoy great included value, and depending on the plan you choose, you could also benefit from all-inclusive national calls, texts and iiNet-to-iiNet mobile calls.

To make calls or use mobile internet on the 4G network, you’ll need to do the following:

  • Use your SIM card in a 4G-compatible handset
  • Be within a 4G coverage area

If not, your calls and mobile internet will use the 3G or 2G network instead if they are available. Our 4G plans swap easily between these networks to make sure you have as much service coverage as possible.

Terms and Conditions

* Not all mobile handsets are compatible with our SIM cards or it may be necessary for your handset to be unlocked before it can work with our SIM cards.

** Our 4G handsets require a 4G compatible SIM plan in order to unlock 4G coverage. (All current iiNet SIM plans are 4G compatible).

  • Included call value covers Standard National Voice calls, Standard SMS and MMS, calls to 1300/13, voicemail and national diversions.
  • Mobile internet data value includes National data usage only.
  • Using one Megabyte of data within Australia will cost $0.075 on the $15 plan; $0.03 on the $30 plan; and $0.02 on the $45 plan. Any excess data usage above your monthly allowance will be charged at $0.05 per MB.
  • Bundled Plans: Using one Megabyte of data within Australia will cost $0.03 on the $15 plan; $0.015 on the $30 plan; and $0.01 on the $45 plan. Any excess data usage above your monthly allowance will be charged at $0.05 per MB.
  • SMS text message (up to 160 characters) and MMS to international numbers charged extra and contributes to your monthly included value, see plan details for changes
  • A standard national mobile call incurs a flagfall of $0.35 and a per minute rate of $0.90. Hence, a 2 minute national mobile call will cost $2.15. A standard national mobile SMS will cost $0.25.
  • Not all mobile handsets are compatible with our SIM cards or it may be necessary for your handset to be unlocked before it can work with our SIM cards.
  • All inclusive calls/SMS are for ordinary residential use only and are not to be used for commercial purposes.
  • A once-off upfront cost of $20 applies for a new SIM card
  • Billing increment is 60 seconds
  • Calls to 1800 numbers are not charged.

Not covered by included call value

  • International Voice including calls to fixed lines or GSM mobiles that switch/divert or re-route overseas, International SMS and MMS, National Video Calls, International Diversions, International Video, International Roaming, International Video Calling, 124 YES (937), Optus Zoo Browsing, Optus Zoo Downloads, Content Packs (unless specified in promotions), Mobile Internet usage, TrueLocal usage, Directory Assistance, SurePage, Premium Calls/SMS/MMS, VOIP services and usage, and 19XX services.
  • If you exceed the included cap value in any one billing period, standard rates of your plan will apply.

Not covered by mobile internet data value

  • Data used while roaming internationally. If you access such services, you will be charged at prevailing rates.
  • Included cap value expires at the end of the billing month and cannot be rolled over. Please note that video calling, data services and MMS are only available on compatible handsets.
  • A fair use Policy applies and can be found in our Customer Relationship Agreement.
