iiNet - proud sponsors of the NBL 2012-13 Season

It's that time of year again, the National Basketball League tips-off its new iiNet NBL Championship season on October 5 and its shaping up to be a great summer of basketball.

Eight teams will vie for the NBL title this season, with the seven Australian clubs looking to bring the championship trophy back home after the New Zealand Breakers won back-to-back titles in April.

The 2012/13 season will start with a blockbuster Grand Final rematch, as the Breakers host archrivals the Perth Wildcats in Round One.

The opening week of the season will also feature an intrastate clash between the Sydney Kings and Wollongong Hawks and a 'Reptile Rumble' between the Cairns Taipans and Townsville Crocodiles. The Melbourne Tigers under new head coach Chris Anstey will also travel to South Australia to play the Adelaide 36ers.
