Naked DSL - i've signed up, now what?

Naked DSL application submitted step one

Take our virtual hand and we'll walk you through what happens next.

It takes between 10 and 20 working days to get connected - less if you opted to switch faster. If you find yourself waiting longer than expected, call us on 1300 634 515 and we'll kick someone.

Receive Application

  • Application received by our Provisioning Team.
  • We then validate some basic details - payment/address/contact details etc.
  • On completion of this section, we will e-mail you your username and password and a few other details.

Process Application

  • If you applied without an active phone line, we will establish a temporary phone connection which is a necessary part of switching to Naked DSL.
  • Where there is an active phone line, we work with our wholesaler to confirm that your line is compatible with Naked DSL.
  • Once we have a confirmed switch over date for your Naked DSL connection, we will e-mail and SMS you.
  • We also ship your hardware at this point (if you ordered any), so you should have it ready when the service becomes active.

Wait for Activation

  • We now have a switch over date confirmed which should have been e-mailed to you.
  • You don't need to be present for this appointment, as the work will be conducted solely at your local telephone exchange. If for whatever reason we need you present for the appointment we will contact you.

Activate Service

  • Once the switch is complete, we'll send you an email to let you know that your service is active and ready to use, this may be a couple days after your switch over date noted above.
  • Your Naked iiTalk details will be sent via email shortly after your Naked DSL service is activated.

So, where to now?

Tracking my application

  • You can track your application online in Toolbox by entering the username and password we will e-mail you. Then click on "check broadband status" under the "broadband" header.

Access the internet while you wait

  • All Naked DSL plans come with a free dialup account. If you had an active phone line when you signed up, you can access the net while waiting to be connected. Get online now.
