For iiNet, being part of a community is about doing what we can because we know we can make an impact. As a business and member of the community, we’re passionate about making a genuine connection. We’re committed to supporting the communities in which we operate and sharing our journey towards a more sustainable future.
Over the years, iiNet has worked with the community through a broad range of initiatives from lending our staff to share their tech knowledge, providing in-kind broadband products and services, through to partnering with causes both big and small.
Throughout 2010-11 our staff clocked over 1000 hours of their time, volunteering for a range of initiatives. Staff have helped save lives through the Australian Red Cross, lending an arm to our iiNet Club Red Team. We’ve worked alongside the West Coast Eagles and Tabitha Foundation to build 20 houses for the homeless in Cambodia, helped seniors dip their toes into the World Wide Web, wrapped Christmas presents for underprivileged kids, braved weeks of hairy upper lips for Movember, shaved our heads for The World’s Greatest Shave and much more.
