Indigenous Art

A simple lesson that builds on students understanding of using symbols to tell a story. Just as the Aboriginal people of Australia told stories in their cave painting, the Artic Inuit people too used paintings, carvings and Inukshuk to tell stories. In this lesson, students will explore Artic Inuit symbols, and use these to pictorially tell a story.
